How to fall asleep faster at night? How indeed? Sleeping is very necessary for us humans, because if we do not recharge our batteries than we will have serious health problems and we won’t be able to function at our entire capacity.
Sleeping at least 5-6 hours per night is something that most people can’t live without and this is why we also need to find ways to fall asleep faster at night. Learning how to fall asleep faster at night means that we are saving some time which we are usually losing because we do anything else but sleep.
The normal individual wastes at least 30 minutes each night, because instead of sleeping, he starts thinking of who knows what. This means, lost time and making it hard for us to fall asleep. If we learned to stop this and discovered new and effective tips on how to fall asleep fast, then our entire sleep will have to gain from this simple endeavor. In the following lines, you will learn how to fall asleep fast when not tired or when having trouble falling asleep.
How to fall asleep faster at night
1. If you know that you will go to bed at 11, then stop the computer at 9, because this will drastically effect your sleep. The radiation that the computer and even the TV puts out will always affect your health, including your sleep. You should do anything else but stay at the computer and the TV before sleep. There is only one exception to this, at least this is what I know, and that is the next tip on how to fall asleep fast naturally.
2. I know a person that uses the TV to actually fall asleep faster at night. It takes him about 10 to 15 minutes to do this and it is really amazing (for me at least). This is “Dan’s how to fall asleep fast method”:
Step 1. Turn the TV on and the volume really low
Step 2. Make sure that it is quite in the room
Step 3. Set your TV to close after 30 minutes
Step 4. Close your eyes
Step 5. Try to make complete silence and figure out what they are saying at TV
Step 6. Do not open your eyes until you fall asleep
3. Start reading a book before bed. don’t pick a book that you like, but one that you are not really interested in. This way, you will start reading those things that do not relate to you at all, and you will get bored and want to sleep. This works in most cases, so give it a try.
4. Learning how to fall asleep fast at night means that you should not be eating too close to the time that you usually go to bed will also affect the quality of your sleep. If you eat with 3-4 hours before bedtime, then you won’t be able to fall asleep pretty fast. Just avoid doing this and eat with 5 hours before you go to sleep just to be sure.
5. Another smart tip on how to fall asleep faster at night is to actually create some associations between sleep and your bed. This means that you should not do anything but sleep in your bed (well, there is another thing that you can do here and that is alright). Just do not read or work in your bed. Make sure that your subconscious knows that whenever you lie down in bed then it is time to fall asleep. This really works if you do it long enough!
