Shape. This is the big problem with these type of pillows and you should always test it before actually paying money for it because you might find it uncomfortabel to sleep on. It’s not enough to look for the classic shaped moshi pillows, because not all of them have the proper size to support your neck. Some of these pillows are actually more uncomfortable than sleeping without a pillow so make sure that you buy something that delivers the comfort and support that you need.

Comfort. Press the pillow and see how fast it goes back to its original shape. If you are not satisfied with the result, don’t buy because it will most surely become unusable after a couple of times.

Bedroom. If you sleep on your stomach, this pillow is useless for you for obvious reasons. However, if you want to give up this habit and try to get used to sleeping on the back or on a side, than the moshi neck pillow can be a good purchase.

Fake or not. If you are looking to buy the original moshi pillow brand, than check the label. If it has the popular “Made in China” and the name of an unknown company on the label, than you are dealing with a fake/normal pillow. However, this doesn’t mean that the pillow is not good, it just proves it’s not the real deal.

The moshi microbead pillow is usually U shaped and it has a simple, monochromatic cover, less flashy than the pillows designed for kids. Make sure that the moshi pillows have a spare cover or make one yourself because the pillows can’t be machine washed. Almost all labels say that it requires spot cleaning and if you stained it in the plane it will take a while until you can clean it and the spot might not come off.

Look for a design that you like, test it and buy it. You will surely wonder why you haven’t used a moshi neck pillow until now.
