If you have trouble falling asleep then you might want to read this post to see some of the reasons why you may not be able to fall asleep fast.


If you need help falling asleep, then this post is going to be of help to you. You are surely not the first not the last person that has trouble falling asleep and this is mainly because we do not know how to treat this sort of things. We don’t know how to find the cause of this problem, and even if we do find it, we won’t do anything about this and you will see why in a moment.

Here are the main causes why you are experiencing trouble falling asleep or can’t sleep too much:

1. You probably drink too much coffee or beverages with caffeine in them. What does too much mean? Two cups of coffee daily is enough. More than this means you will not be able to fall asleep fast. Coffee is very powerful and you should never drink it in the afternoon because it will affect your sleep pattern. It will make you want and need to stay awake when you should be sleeping.

2. You stay too much time in front of your PC and/or you turn it off right before going to bed. If you turn of the computer and then go straight to bed it will most likely take you about 1 hour to fall asleep, because of all those radiations that the computer gave you. Also, you programmed you body to think that it is still day outside because of the light from the computer. This is why you should turn it off with 2-3 hours before going to bed.

3. Watching late TV shows or watching too much TV is another cause of having serious sleeping problems. You should not watch more than 2-4 hours of TV per day and do not watch TV with 2 hours prior to going to bed. I know this is hard, but if you want to have a quality sleep you need to get rid of the things that are making sleep loose its quality in the first place.

4. In your bedroom it should be silence so that you can sleep, but if you have some sort of noise problem, you won’t be able to fall asleep fast. If you live in an area where noise can not be eliminated, just get yourself a pair of ear plugs and sleep away! As soon as you put them on, you will hear almost no noise at all and this will make a huge difference for your sleep. If you can do it otherwise then do it. Make sure that you will sleep in silence and do whatever you can to make this happen. You are probably still asking yourself how to fall asleep fast because you haven’t enough silence in the room where you sleep.
