    read the boring books……do not listen to any music….do not play with your mind…take deep breathe….stretch your body…drink 2 glass hot milk before bed…and try all u will asleep faster….plzzz try it….

    Peeps who cant sleep, this is for you. Use a gentle fan or other droning noise. Breathe in deeply through nose and out through mouth. A lotion can really help. Nothing too heavy. I use bath and body works aromatherapy lotion. Be comfortable. Don’t prop your head up really high. Ouch. Noises like crickets and whales work good. Dim lights as low as possible if you must have one one. Dark glow ones work better for sleep than bright shining ones. Praying helps me. Repent and thank God. Count the stars, sheep, or backwards from0 or 1000. Focus on it though. Do a huge math problem in your head. Hope this helps!

    I sort of have a few beds and they are the most comfortable things ever but I don’t get to sleep till about anywhere from 3 till 5 in the morning, I can close my eyes and feel so tired but nothing happens and after about a month or two I crash for a night or two but its on off like ill crash without knowing it around 9 and wake up either every hour or sleep for 2/3 straight then wake up and not sleep at all for ages. Honesty all I want is to have a desent 12 hours sleep from 9 till 9, my worst is 68 hours and only 5 hours sleep spread out over that time, I JUST WANT TO SLEEP AND HONESTLY HAVE A DREAM AGAIN!!

    Dear anonymous, when I have ear ache , I buy myself a beer that you can heat up in the microwave. Put your ear on it and it always helps! This also helps even if U haven’t got ear ace, just cuddle the warm teddy! Hope i helped! ;)

    i tried almost all these things and i still cant fall asleep yesterday i went to bed at 9 i had the tv on till 11 then turned off the tv then i had the lamp on till 12 and then i turned it off i was up all night i finally thought i was going to get some sleep when i fell asleep at 9 30 am but then i woke up 5 MINUTES LATER

    Daydream about anything like you got something you really wanted,getting popular,and a cute guy saves you and you fall in love.Daydream with your eyes closed.Then you will get to tired to daydream so you will continue closing your eyes and fall asleep.You can continue your daydream tommorow or start a new one it made bedtime very fun I was excited for bedtime.Hope this helps.

    What I found that helps me sleep better is to shake my leg just a little bit to rock my body back and forth. The rocking motion makes me sleepy and I end up sleeping a couple of minutes later.

    If you don’t feel comfortable with tight or unusual things on you, ear plugs, eye mask etc, then don’t try it. Try to get to bed fresh, have something like an orange, tell your mind that you are ready and fresh for the morning! I wouldn’t recommend having a bath or a shower etc anytime soon before going to bed, especially a warm one. Water (and heat) wake up your mind, making you more cautious. Having a big warm dinner or milkshake may be advertised also for a way to get to sleep quickly. But having a full stomach only makes you warm and it had your digestive system constantly working. When I want to get to sleep fast I wouldn’t try counting sheep or anything too much. Thinking about even the simplest things too much again wakes up your mind. Try to avoid fluid too soon before bed. Like water, fluid wakes you up, you can feel the fluid making you a lot more cautious. The biggest thing is to get comfortable. Don’t try any weird tips that may make you feel uncomfortable at the slightest.

    i wrecked a crotch rocket in 04 and got hurt really bad but ever since then i hardly sleep. i’m on 2 different sleeping pills and nothing helps. i stay up 2 or 3 days then sleep on andoff for about 3-4 hours i need help big time. does lights or something like that help? cds? what?

    This is very useful. I normally take hours to get to sleep as I feel pressured and my mind wanders too much. Here’s a tip: Don’t be too hot or too cold, try being warm or the temperature you would like. If you are in one of those nights where under the blankets are too hot and no blankets too cold, try lying under the duvet with your leg sticking out. It’s worked for me loads.

      It may be too late, but absolulty FREEZE your ears.. Dunk them in a bowl of cold water, have frozen cloth on them while you sleep.

    i do had hard time sleeping, in order to sleep I usually watch my favorite wwe superstars on their funny moves and actions. It makes me laugh the hardest and relaxes me a lot. Laughing out loud makes me tired and allows me to sleep peacefully.
